Utah Reception Center: Celebrate 100

What better place to celebrate a 100th Birthday than in a building that's older than you.

Dorothy did just that.

Can you believe that this adorable lady is 100.

We were so honored to host her event and have all her wonderful kind family here to celebrate with her.

Guests were able to indulge on Dorothy's favorite treat....Twinkies!

The cute cake, bright colors, amazing food prepared by our outstanding chef and wonderful guests made this event a huge success.

Utah Reception Center: Summertime

Summertime has officially come to an end here at the Northampton House. The leaves are beginning to change to beautiful crimson reds, burnt oranges and vibrant yellows.

Our brides color schemes are also beginning to change to accomodate the beautiful palette fall has to offer.

Take a look at some of the wonderful weddings that took place here this summer as we say farewell to Utah's Hottest Wedding Season.

This cowbow boot took our cake decorator three days to complete, but it look amazing when it was finished, and our bride and groom were completely shocked at the surprise cake.

Camille's bouquet was one of my favorites to do. She chose something that matched her personality, NOT her colors and it turned out beautifully.

When the brides magazines predict a certain trend for the next year...believe it.

I doubted that purple would be the color of the year and boy was I wrong.

Everyone has been doing purple, but bringing in their own unique styles.

Megan's theme of purple and gold was excuisite, and her ivory and gold pearls were should we say "the icing on the cake"!

Flowers have come in all shapes, colors and sizes this season, but once again, most consisted of some shade of purple and they were all beautiful.

Predicted color trends for 2011.....Apple Green, Mauve, Lilac, Celadon, Slate Gray, Gold, Red, Navy, Chocolate/Mocha, Clementine Orange, Yellow and Pine Green

Wedding Reception Center Utah: Anna and Aaron

Anna and Aaron, started the evening off at the Northampton House with their wedding ceremony in our couryard room.

They had our beautiful gardens as their backdrop, and one our favorite Judges as their officiant.

Judge Lynn Davis.

Anna Chose a very Simple wedding cake, but accented it with a gorgeous variety of flowers!

Her wedding centerpieces were a simple arrangement to match her bridal bouquet.

With purples, and yellow and gold.

Her bridal bouquet was a stunning variety of Yellow lilies roses and gerbs, purple dahlias, lisianthis, stock and calla lilies.

Anna's dress was the showcase of the evening, with the intricate detailing and bead work, it was work of art on a beautiful bride.

They chose to keep the food simple and refreshing, with an ice cream station, filled with sauces toppings, and a whole variety of ice cream flavors.

The evening would not have been complete without a dance with the Father of the Bride.

Anna and Aaron ended the perfect evening with their own dance,

and a toss of the bouquet.
